About the Project
Scope
Enhancing Arbuz.kz App's daily experience through a health-focused recommendation and auto-delivery features conducting research and making prototype using Figma.
Challenge
Arbuz.kz is a major online supermarket and grocery delivery service in Kazakhstan. It was founded in 2011. The service allows customers to order groceries, food, household goods, drinks and other everyday items through the app or website and receive them via courier delivery directly to their door.
As a loyal user of arbuz.kz, I found myself wonder if the app could suggest me food based on my health condition and make it likewise for my grandparents.
Arbuz.kz has become one of the most used app for food delivery among my friends and family. I make an order every week both for myself and my grandparents, however since they live separately and have limited access to supermarkets due to their health conditions, I have to make sure they get their groceries delivered on time every week.
Problem Statement
Arbuz.kz lacks health-aware product guidance and recurring delivery support, making grocery shopping difficult for both elderly users and younger people with health conditions, and time-consuming for caregivers managing orders on their behalf.
Solution
This led me to explore how the app could evolve, so I focused on maintaining the original structure and interface of the app while adding a new section that allows users to choose products based
on the most prevalent health diagnosis in Kazakhstan and an auto-delivery feature that provides users with regular recurring grocery deliveries.
